Using netDumbster in multiple test fixtures in MbUnit

May 23, 2011 at 1:01 PM

I have three test fixtures that are configured to use netDumbster.

If I select and run all the unit tests in any single test fixture, the tests run correctly. If I try to run all test fixtures from the test runner, the three test fixtures that use netDumbster fail (because the actual and expected values are not equal).

I've tried a number of variations: using a single instance of the SimpleSmtpServer vs using multiple instances, using the same port vs using different ports.

So there is some sort of conflict with using SimpleSmtpServer with multiple text fixtures.

Any solutions or ideas on how to solve the problem?

Thanks,

Randy

Hi,

can you send a sample or submit a patch with the fixtures, so I can reproduce the issue and give you feedback?

I created a test project and tried to send it, but it was rejected because of the size of the attachment.

I should be able to whittle it down and will resend.

Thanks,

Randy

I sent you the test project that illustrated the issue.

Did you get it?

HI, no I didn't receive any file.

Can  you download the source code, add as many clases are necessary to the test project to show the issue and create a simple patch that you can attach here in codeplex?

Thanks,
